I'll read it to you.

Hello everyone, this is cheyNE-omatic, and this is my portfolio. The blog entry on 12 Sep 2005, had a sort-of-professional portfolio.

Today, I present you with a little-bit-better, sort-of-professional portfolio.

And now, A Walk On Waltham.

A-Walk-On-Waltham

It's the effort required, that makes you so tired.

I'll read it to you.

The dock is where I see all the programs I like to use, and I can pick the one I want in style. I drag stuff around with my whole hand, on my one-button mouse. I can adjust the volume on the keyboard, complete with visual feedback, like a TV. When I'm done listening to a CD, I just drag the little CD into the garbage can. The little voices really like being inside my fancy computer, and I can talk to them, and boss them around, since I can use speech to control my whole computer. Concepts like making the window system SEPARATE from running applications, and adopting the tried-and-true Unix system, seem like common sense — like “well, duh” ideas.

Stoner Mac

Mac users feel like they have awoken to common sense, and want to awaken the sleeping.

It's the drug store sofa, over the dock. With the sweetest inspiration, we don't want to stop.

Warning: this entry will contain some fun.

A cat at Heather's house

The cat on the red carpet at Heather's house is totally fun.

Authentic Indians are always fun.

Sharesa is my best friend. Friends are fun!

Kitchen tools

Cooking tools at the old OEC are fun, too.

[Various accordion, whistling, and other neat sounds, making beautiful music, non-vocally.]

I'll read it to you.

The D.A.R.E. program, in fifth (5th) grade, taught me the dangers of using drugs and alcohol. A page in the book we were given, had pictures of pills, razor blades, syringes, cigarettes, beer bottles, and big pot leaves. Everyone in my class graduated from the D.A.R.E. program, and made a committment to stay away from drugs.

The D.A.R.E. program is a joke.

Officer Glen Jardon taught us that marijuana was a gateway drug, a drug that leads people to abuse other substances.

Decriminalize it!

Marijuana should not be illegal. There is no reason for it to be.

Marinol® is a synthetic marijuana substitute on the market.

Why is natural marijuana illegal, while the synthetic kind is legal? Because Solvay Pharmaceuticals would not make money if real marijuana was legal?

The “statistics” about the harms of marijuana are very misleading.

The government webite, usdoj.gov, claims that “one marijuana cigarette deposits about four times more tar into the lungs than a filtered tobacco cigarette.” Duh. A filtered tobacco cigarette has a filter for a reason. Why wasn't the test done with unfiltered tobacco cigarettes? Unfiltered cigarettes deposit more tar into the lungs than filtered cigarettes, yet they are legal.

The anti-marijuana reports use a lot of mays and mights to scare people away from the drug, even though people have been smoking marijuana since the beginning of time, and haven't experienced problems.

Marijuana doesn't necessarily cause a person to try harder drugs, commit crimes, be anti-social, etc. Yes, the hard drug-using, crime-commiting, anti-social person may use marijuana, but marijuana is falsely accused. A scientific study must eliminate all other variables to find the cause of an event.

But we are young, we run green, keep our teeth nice and clean. See our friends, see the sights, feel alright.
